Tinted Windows Terror-Zimbabwean Driver Fined Amid Government’s “Oops, We Didn’t Mean That” Saga

In a baffling twist that could only happen in the land of plot twists, a Zimbabwean driver was slapped with a $15 fine for having tinted windows ,just hours after a government spokesperson declared the ban on window tints was a mere “miscommunication” and totally unauthorized.

The driver, cruising peacefully with mysteriously shaded windows, woke up to a ticket from the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) at Dema, leaving everyone wondering if the police missed the memo or are just playing their own version of “side-hustling .”

Less than 24 hours earlier, the government had publicly shrugged off the whole tint ban like a forgotten TV subplot, but apparently, the police had already gone full “enforcer mode,” writing fines faster than you can say “miscommunication.”

This eyebrow-raising incident has left citizens scratching their heads, questioning whether Zimbabwe’s laws come with a secret “plot twist” clause ,because when the government says “No,” but the police say “Yes,” it’s less a legal debate and more of a ‘gospel song’ gone delightfully absurd.
