TikToker’s Apology Falls Flat

Zimbabwean TikToker Ndoyisile Sibindi is reeling after feeling betrayed by a homeowner who initially agreed to let him delete a promotional video recorded outside her house, only to later complain to the car dealership about it. Ndoyisile had reached out to Nomfundo, offering to remove the part of the video showing her house, and she agreed.

But to his surprise, Nomfundo contacted the dealership, expressing concerns about her safety being at risk, despite also posting videos of the estate and her kids online. “I felt betrayed,” Ndoyisile said, sharing screenshots of their conversation, which showed his attempts to clarify the situation were ignored .

Ndoyisile explained he had asked another resident if he could record on her side of the estate due to construction noise outside his apartment, but mistakenly recorded in front of Nomfundo’s house instead.
