In a fiery public confrontation, Susan Mutami has sharply rebuked Christopher Mutsvangwa, warning him to immediately retract any statements or actions allegedly influenced by outside payments. The warning comes as a way of respect to Mutsvangwa’s relationship with Sabhuku Themba Mliswa, who was recently branded a “good-for-nothing fertile government spy”, a few days ago.
Mutami accused Mutsvangwa of failing to “read the temperature of the room” and reminded him of their shared knowledge regarding Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei controversial activities. Tagwirei, a wealthy businessman, has been repeatedly accused of embezzling funds from Zimbabwe, a country grappling with economic hardship. Mutami referred to these actions as “shenanigans,” highlighting the public frustration with perceived corruption.
Mutsvangwa was given a strict 24-hour deadline to withdraw his statements. This ultimatum follows Mutsvangwa’s recent defense of Tagwirei, where he called on Zimbabwe’s Vice President to stop raising concerns about the origins of Tagwirei’s billions and the allegations of theft from the nation.
