In a not so shocking escalation of a long running feud, Susan Mutami, the Australia-based socialite, has publicly demanded Temba Mliswa, Zimbabwe’s former Norton MP, to settle a staggering AU$1.2 million (US$793,220) in unpaid child support for their son, Tinotenda. The bombshell claim, aired on social media, reignites a bitter dispute rooted in years of accusations, denials, and drama.
Mutami and Mliswa’s relationship, which began years ago, has been marred by controversy. In 2021, Mutami accused Mliswa of being a “deadbeat father,” revealing he had never contributed a cent to their child’s upkeep, despite a DNA test confirming paternity with 99.99999999% certainty. Mliswa initially disputed the claim, demanding proof, but later acknowledged the child as his own. Mutami, who covered the DNA test costs, has since pursued legal action.
In a scathing social media post, Mutami declared,
“Temba Mliswa owes me AU$1.2 million in child support since Tinotenda’s birth. The Australian government and I have shouldered this burden. If he has money for ‘other things,’ he can’t neglect his child.”
She mocked Mliswa’s wealth, referencing past rumors of his lavish lifestyle, and vowed to hire a “top-drawer lawyer” to enforce payment, even if it means claiming US$10 monthly. “All I want is accountability,” she said.
