Sangoma Before Police

A Kadoma man, Iwan Paraiwa, made a curious choice after his car was stolen from a TM Pick and Pay parking lot. Instead of rushing to the nearby police station, he traveled 150 kilometers to consult a traditional healer in Harare. Only after the sangoma couldn’t help did Paraiwa file a report with the police.

One wonders what Paraiwa was thinking. Did he believe the sangoma could magically locate his stolen car? Or was he hoping for some spiritual guidance on how to deal with the theft?

Inspector Ian Kohwera confirmed the case, emphasizing the importance of prompt reporting of thefts. The police might be scratching their heads, wondering why Paraiwa prioritized a traditional healer over their services.

Perhaps Paraiwa will think twice next time, and prioritize reporting crimes to the authorities rather than seeking unconventional solutions. After all, when it comes to stolen cars, every minute counts!
