Polygamous Politics and a Posthumous Party- Taruvinga’s Estate Battle Heats Up

A fierce legal battle has erupted over the estate of the late Zanu-PF legislator Farai Taruvinga, with allegations of multiple wives and hidden assets. Amanda Falala, one of the widows and the court-appointed executor, is facing opposition from Nontokozo Moyo, who claims to be Taruvinga’s fourth wife.

The drama unfolds as Moyo accuses Falala of concealing her and another woman, Nokukhanya Sibanda, from official records to disinherit them. Falala denies the allegations, claiming Moyo was just a nurse aide and not a wife. The court will decide the validity of the executor appointment and Moyo’s claims.
