President Chamisa pays his condolences to the Masaya family following the abduction and subsequent murder of Bishop Tapfumaneyi Masaya by alleged state security and Zanu PF thugs.

Opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) President Advocate Nelson Chamisa was in Mabvuku yesterday (18th of November) at a funeral of their party member Bishop Tapfumanei Masaya who was murdered last week in Mabvuku during a door-to-door campaign preparations for December by-elections.

A fairly big crowd of opposition party members and supporters attended the funeral to pay their last respect to the deceased party member and his family.

The main opposition leader, President Nelson Chamisa posted this on his official facebook account:

"SCENES FROM MABVUKU…Happening now..The burial of the abducted and murdered, Citizen Tapfumanei Masaya. The Citizens shall govern!!RIP Change Champion"

Advocate Nelson Chamisa expressed deep concern about the rising political violence aimed at his party supporters seen by an increase in political related murders. He went on to express his feelings about the government not taking action on escalating politically motivated murder cases, not even to give condolence messages and condemn violence.
