Nisha Ts Sets Record Straight “I Have a Boyfriend, I Just Love This Style of Dressing”

Nisha Ts, the popular Afro-Dancehall singer, has set the record straight about her personal life and style. In a recent interview, Anisha Tashinga Shonhiwa, known professionally as Nisha Ts, addressed rumors that she is a lesbian or tomboy, stating that she actually has a boyfriend .

The Admire Kadembo singer explained that her choice of dressing, which often features baggy jeans and oversized T-shirts, is a reflection of how she was raised. “I was raised by my grandmother, who never allowed us to wear trousers. I’d only wear trousers at school, and I always had the desire to wear trousers,” she shared.

Nisha Ts, who rose to fame with her hit single “Kutsamwa Kune Labour,” emphasized that she’s proud of her unique style and the way she expresses herself through music. Her music often centers around themes of self-expression, resilience, and empowerment, inspiring her fans, particularly women, to embrace their true selves .
