In a shocking and disturbing incident that took place on Friday, 3 May, a 48-year-old woman has been arrested for the alleged murder of her 18-year-old son in Leshikishiki Village, Lebowakgomo. The suspect is accused of decapitating her son, leaving his lifeless body on a wheelchair while placing his severed head on the ground.

Upon arriving at the scene near a local tavern, the police discovered the tragic sight. Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba, the police spokesman in Limpopo, stated that no one was present at the scene when they arrived. Following initial investigations, the mother was identified as the prime suspect and subsequently arrested.

The authorities also recovered a knife at the scene, believed to be the weapon used in the gruesome act. The suspect is expected to face legal proceedings.
