In the wake of St George’s College student, Ashley Musendekwa’s death, a video has emerged showing his last moments before he was involved in a horrific car accident.

Ashley Musendekwa, the deputy head boy of St. George’s College and an Upper Sixth student, lost his life in a horrific car crash on a Wednesday evening. The vehicle he was driving reportedly collided head-on with a Koala Park Abattoir truck along Harare Drive in Mt Pleasant.

In the short video which has since gone viral, Ashley can be seen at the school premises walking around at what looks like a car park. Someone in the background recording the video, can be heard asking him if he has any final words. Responding, Ashley utters;

“You only appreciate something when it’s gone.”

This touching video has elicited a wave of emotional reactions on social media. It has left many people heartbroken and mourning the loss of a young life. Reacting to his last words, some netizens opined that he might have had premonition and knew he was about to die.
