In a frightening incident that sent shockwaves through the community, Warren Park Primary School fell victim to an armed robbery while parents were paying their school fees. The brazen attack unfolded earlier today, as six armed suspects stormed the school premises, leaving parents, students, and staff in a state of fear and disbelief. In a matter of minutes, the criminals made off with a substantial sum of US$1,481.00 in cash, leaving behind a trail of chaos and distress.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the incident on their X handle. “The ZRP urges school authorities to increase security and be alert as parents pay school fees. Where possible, parents are encouraged to deposit their fees through financial institutions to curb armed robbery cases.

“Meanwhile, Police is investigating a case of robbery which occurred at Warren Park Primary School this morning when six armed suspects raided the school as parents were paying their school fees. The suspects went away with US$1 481.00 cash. Investigations are in progress,” reads the statement.
