Double tragedy struck the Gondoza family over the weekend after Dennis ‘Snot’ Gondoza died on Sunday afternoon before his older brother Morgen (55), who died on Friday was buried.

The family is now going to have a double burial.

Their older brother, Jobert Chris, confirmed the deaths to The Mirror. He said Morgen was diabetic. Dennis had a heart problem.

Mourners are currently gathered at 1016 Rungano Street, Mucheke, Masvingo.

Morgen died on Friday morning around 5:30 am at Masvingo Provincial Hospital. He was rushed to the hospital with breathing difficulties around 5 am.

Chris said Morgen was a staunch Zanu PF supporter.

Dennis was based in South Africa and had travelled to Zimbabwe for his older brother’s funeral. He collapsed on Sunday at Reflections Restaurant and was rushed to the 24-hour clinic. He was pronounced dead that afternoon.

Morgen administers family businesses including liquor outlets and general dealers. These businesses are in Hillside, Mucheke and Zaka.
