A couple got a divorce just three minutes after being declared husband and wife after the groom mocked the bride as they were leaving their wedding ceremony.
After the legal proceedings ended the couple turned to walk out of the courthouse, but the bride tripped over. According to reports, the groom called her stupid for falling over. Q8 News claims the woman became extremely angry and demanded the judge end their marriage immediately. The judge agreed, and served an annulment just three minutes after he originally married them.
The couple, who live in Kuwait, never even left the courthouse as husband and wife. It's believed to be the shortest marriage in the country's history. The story was widely shared online and many people believe she did the right thing. One person wrote on Twitter : "A marriage with no respect is a failed one right from the beginning". Another added: "If this is how he acts right at the beginning, it's better to leave him."
A bride insulted her husband-to-be when she arrived at the altar and demanded he change his outfit. On Australia's Married at First Sight, bride Ines Basic, 28, clearly wasn't impressed when Bronson Norrish turned around and said hello on their big day. When she arrives at the altar he introduces himself in front of all their family and friends, to which she replies hi and then insults his appearance.
She said: "Can we get rid of the eyebrow ring please? He laughs awkwardly before replying: "Not very easily, no." Members of the crowd are shocked by her opening line and one guest is overheard: "I can't believe she said that."
