An official Press Statement has been released by Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) in regards to circulating claims of parliament and council member recalls.

posted this on his official Facebook account:
"It has come to the attention of the Citizens Coalition for Change that there are letters purportedly written by a person designating himself as interim secretary General circulating on social media claiming that the Citizens’ Movement has recalled named councillors and members of Parliament."
Fake re-calls circulating online:
A former MDC-T and PDP official Sengezo Tshabangu, who claims to be CCC interim secretary general, has written to Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda and the Local Government Minister Winston Chitando supposedly recalling CCC MPs and councillors.
Tshabangu allegedly signed letters that produced CCC double candidates during the 23-24 August elections.
