Manchester United’s €60 million Deal That Could Finally Put Cristiano Ronaldo’s Exit Rumors To Bed

Manchester United is on the cusp of sealing a €60 million transfer deal that could perhaps put Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit rumours to bed.

The Red Devils are a few moments away from completing the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro. United’s pursuit of Casemiro comes a few days after Erik Ten Hag’s chase of Frenkie De Jong and Adrien Rabiot collapsed.

According to reports, Real Madrid is keen to sell the 30-year-old Brazilian national who was pivotal to the club’s treble last season.  Los Blancos is positive about the deal which could see Man United paying a fee of €60 million.

“Manchester United will send an official bid for Casemiro tonight in order to close the deal on Friday. €60m fee, €10m add-ons – so Real Madrid are expected to accept in the next hours. 🚨🔴🇧🇷 #MUFC
Man Utd offering contract valid until June 2026 plus an option for further,” wrote Fabrizio Romano confirming the deal.

Man United is yet to mail its official initial bid to the Spanish giants but close sources to both clubs are saying that Casemiro will become one of the highest-paid players at Old Trafford if the deal is sealed.

Will The Coming In Of Casemiro Change Ronaldo’s Mind About Leaving?

Cristiano Ronaldo has been embroiled in an exit saga from Old Trafford. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is keen to join any side that is competing in the UEFA Champions League.

At the moment United is keen to keep Ronaldo and many are expecting that Casemiro could be enough to convince Ronaldo to stay since the two enjoyed huge success together at Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is being linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund but the move is highly unlikely possible as Dortmund is silent about the deal despite Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes reportedly working to orchestrate the move.
