Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Silence Over His Manchester United Exit Saga!

Cristiano Ronaldo has threatened to drop a bombshell following his Manchester United exit saga which has grabbed headlines this transfer window.

The 37-year-old forward has been embroiled in a transfer saga since the pre-season when the former Real Madrid star tried to force an Old Trafford exit. Ronaldo intends to leave United due to his desire to play in the UEFA Champions League.

Apart from making his intentions crystal clear that he wants to leave, Ronaldo even snubbed to join the squad on its pre-season tour, with the club clarifying his absence as related to “family” issues.

However, Ronaldo took it to Instagram where he pledged to leak everything that has been happening behind the face of the media and giving an accurate report contrary to what was reported by the media concerning his saga.

Ronaldo wrote:

“They know the truth when they interview in a couple weeks. The media is telling lies. I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 news I made, only 5 were right. Imagine how it is. Stick with that tip.”

Following Ronaldo’s post, one television presenter and journalist Piers Morgan also posted on his social media claiming that most of the media reports about Ronaldo were “inaccurate and garbage.”

As someone who’s been talking to Cristiano throughout this period, I’d say he’s being generous when he says 5… there’s been so much woefully inaccurate & disrespectful garbage written & said about him this year.”

Meanwhile,  Man-United is currently struggling in front of goal with Ronaldo not being fully fit. In United’s first 2-1 defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion, Ronaldo only played in the second half after being deemed match unfit.  And last weekend, United was handed a 4-0 drubbing by Brentford with Ronaldo wasting a couple of chances.

Man United, will be in action next Monday against winless Liverpool at Anfield and it remains to be seen if Ronaldo will score his first of the season.
