TAFADZWA Murengwa, who grabbed headlines for shooting dead his estranged girlfriend, Samantha Dzapata, will be buried in Guruve today.

Murengwa, a.k.a Boss Pangolin, died after consuming a chemical inside his parked vehicle, which was found by police in Gletwin, Shawasha Hills.

Boss Pango is likely to be buried next to his mother’s grave, which he visited last Christmas.

The family spent the greater part of yesterday awaiting post-mortem results in order to process a burial order for Pango.

When H-Metro visited the family’s residence, only a handful of mourners, were gathered in Gletwin, Shawasha.

The family refused to entertain questions regarding the post-mortem or an alleged suicide note Pango is believed to have left.

“We have questions around Pango’s death and no one is willing to answer us.

“I am travelling at the moment and I can’t respond to any questions about the letter you’re referring to,” said one of his uncles.

Details of the funeral remain sketchy, with finer details only restricted to the family and a chosen few.

Some of his colleagues at Ximex Mall, who had planned to pay their condolences yesterday, also had to call off their plans due to communication challenges.

In a video, the Ximex dealers’ chairperson, only identified as Mhofu, said they were, however, solid in their quest to pay their last respects to Boss Pango.

Mhofu said they had even contributed towards the purchase of a casket for their late colleague.

Meanwhile, the late Samantha was laid to rest in Seke yesterday.
