Here is the Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Situation Report or Update for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) on 03 December 2021:
- 1 062 New Cases (All local) and 1 Death were reported today. (7-day rolling average for new cases rises to 515 from 372 (yesterday) 35 are cases detected from learning institutions across the country.
- Vaccination Update: 14 758 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 3 844 394 while 13 226 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 2 864 851 as at 1600 hrs.
- As of 02 December 2021, @1500hrs there were 111 hospitalised cases: New Admissions (44), Asymptomatic 8, mild to moderate 77, severe 24 and 2 in Intensive Care Units.
- 6 097 tests done today (Positivity today was 17.4%)
- 18 new recoveries: National Recovery rate rise to 96% & Active cases go up 3 886.
- As of today, Zimbabwe has recorded 137 441 Cases 128 847 recoveries & 4 708 Deaths.
