In a thrilling game of “cops and cattle thieves,” Featherstone police officers on a motorized patrol pulled off a daring interception at Munyati Bridge. They stopped a suspicious Honda Fit vehicle, registration AFM 1125, and caught the driver, 42-year-old Samuel Gwama, red-handed (or should we say, red-meated?) with a haul of fresh meat.
Nine sacks, each packed with 50 kilograms of juicy meat, were seized from Gwama’s vehicle. But where did this meat come from? The police investigation revealed that it originated from two oxen stolen from Mavise Village 7, Mvuma, under the cover of darkness on July 26, 2025.
Gwama was apprehended and linked to the stock theft case. The police are now urging anyone with information on similar cases to come forward. It seems Gwama’s “beef” with the law has landed him in hot water!
