A kombi driver, Saini Mwogeni, claims he was brutally assaulted by his employer, Fortune Mbizo, over a dispute about cashing fares. According to Saini, Mbizo used a cigarette lighter to burn his hands after accusing him of pocketing some of the money.
Saini alleges that Mbizo locked him in a room and tortured him with the cigarette lighter, boasting about his connections to police officers and threatening to deal with Saini and his family.
