Fugitive Murder Suspect Ali Mugoya Wanted for Multiple Murders

South African police have launched a nationwide manhunt for Ali Mugoya, a Ugandan national implicated in the brutal killing of Zimbabwean citizen Emmanuel Mahamba. The incident occurred in Rivonia, following a violent altercation reportedly centered around a romantic dispute involving Mugoya’s child’s mother.

According to investigators, Mugoya deliberately ran over Mahamba with a Ford Ranger in a parking lot after a physical confrontation. The suspect subsequently abandoned the vehicle and disappeared, prompting police to issue alerts across South Africa.

Further investigations uncovered Mugoya’s alleged involvement in a high-profile triple murder case in Uganda. The fugitive stands accused of participating in the assassination of former Ugandan police spokesperson Andrew Felix Kaweesi along with his driver and bodyguard in 2017.

Ntombi, the woman involved in a relationship with Mahamba, revealed in a Facebook live session that she had been dating Mahamba while still in a relationship with Mugoya. She claimed that Mugoya had become angry after discovering a video of her holding hands with Mahamba, which led to the fatal confrontation.

Police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi confirmed that police received a complaint regarding the incident and found Mahamba’s body with injuries all over. The police are working to apprehend Mugoya and bring him to justice.

The nationwide manhunt for Mugoya continues, with police urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward. The case has sparked widespread interest, with many calling for justice for Mahamba’s family.
