The fake capsules, masquerading as the real deal from Varichem Pharmaceuticals, can be identified by their brown labels with sharp corners and a glaring lack of markings. MCAZ has graciously identified Gartas Investments as one of the sources of these lovely counterfeit capsules. How thoughtful of them! Pharmacies, clinics, wholesalers, and hospitals are urged to quarantine these bad boys ASAP and surrender them by August 1.
Using these fake antibiotics might lead to treatment failure, side effects, and a dash of antimicrobial resistance. MCAZ is working with law enforcement to track down the culprits, because someone’s gotta save the day.
