Dynamos Players Strike Over Unpaid Bonuses Ahead of Chibuku Super Cup Final

Dynamos players are on strike again, refusing to train as they demand outstanding bonuses owed by the club. The team is reportedly owed bonuses for at least six matches during the 2025 season, with some players still waiting for their signing-on fees. This comes ahead of the Chibuku Super Cup final against Triangle United at Gibbo Stadium this weekend, where Dynamos aims to claim a record third title.

The squad’s strike is likely to impact their preparations for the big match, given their poor record against Triangle at Gibbo Stadium  ,  they haven’t won a league match there since 2016. Despite this, Dynamos has dominated the competition in recent years, winning consecutive finals against Ngezi Platinum Stars .

The club’s financial struggles are nothing new, with players having gone on strike previously over unpaid allowances. It’s unclear how this latest development will affect Dynamos’ chances in the Chibuku Super Cup final.
