Diaz Leaves Liverpool for Bayern Munich

Luis Diaz has completed a £65.5m move to Bayern Munich, ending his three-and-a-half-year stay at Liverpool. The Colombia international signed a four-year deal with the German club.

Diaz joined Liverpool from Porto for an initial £37m in January 2022 and won the Premier League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup during his time at Anfield. He scored 41 goals in 148 appearances for the Reds.

The winger expressed gratitude for his time at Liverpool, saying he fulfilled his duty and will never forget his teammates, particularly Diogo Jota. Diaz’s departure marks another significant sale for Liverpool this summer, with the club making around £115m from player sales.
