Harare Community in Shock Over Brutal Murder

A gruesome murder has sent shockwaves through the Harare community, leaving many questioning the safety and well-being of citizens. Prince Ndambi, 31, allegedly killed his ex-wife, Constance Tsitsi Chirwa, in a fit of rage over a child custody dispute.

According to reports, Ndambi confronted Chirwa at her Gletwin workplace, leading to a violent altercation. The alleged killer reportedly used a hammer to inflict fatal injuries on Chirwa’s head, resulting in severe head trauma and brain edema.

After the murder, Ndambi attempted to dispose of Chirwa’s body, dumping it near a bridge along Poland Road. He even placed a 15kg stone on her feet, a chilling attempt to conceal the crime.

Fortunately, the police were able to track Ndambi down and make an arrest. Detectives from CID Bindura linked him to the crime, and he was apprehended in the Cottco area.

Ndambi is currently facing murder charges and appeared before a Harare magistrate. Due to the severity of the charges, the magistrate advised him to apply for bail at the High Court.

This tragic incident has sparked concerns about domestic violence and the need for better support systems. The community is mourning Chirwa’s loss and demanding action to prevent similar incidents in the future. Many are left wondering how such a horrific act could occur and what can be done to protect vulnerable individuals.
