The drama unfolded on February 10, 2025, when Sibanda spotted his neighbor, Believe Mbedzi, standing by the roadside. In a split-second decision, Sibanda turned his car into a weapon, mowing down Mbedzi. But that wasn’t enough; he and his accomplice, Thembelihle Sibanda (who’s still on the loose), jumped out and started slapping Mbedzi while his foot was still pinned under the tire. Classy.
The court was not amused, sentencing Ashley Sibanda to 24 months in jail, with part of it suspended if he behaves himself for the next five years.
